Louise Makepeace is the Matron / Registered Manager of The Andover Nursing Home and has been in post since 2012. Louise is a Registered Nurse with considerable experience in general and practice nursing as well as within the pharmaceutical industry.

Here we believe in an holistic approach and are proud of the high quality of personal care that is given, as well as the homely and friendly atmosphere which is often commented upon. All of our care assistants undergo constant appraisal and are given the opportunity to complete their Quality Care Framework qualifications. Over 50% of our care staff have advanced QCF qualifications.

The Home retains a physiotherapist who assesses physical needs and encourages independence.

Staff Structure: Matron, Deputy Manager, Clinical Nurse Manager, Unit Sisters, Night Sister, Office Manager in addition to core staff. Our in house activities department and staff organise entertainment and activities on a daily basis for all our residents.
